Hello, and welcome to Thebooklord's lair. This website is simply a place for people to write book reviews or stories and poems and find good things to read online. If you want to post me a book review of your favourite book or a story or poem send it to the email below. I reserve the right not to show reviews or writings that are inappropriate.
Note: Several people reading this may wonder about the Anti-TV stuff. I want you to think about it like this- if you don't consider what I have to say, there will always be the niggling thought in the back of your mind- could I be wrong? All I want you to do is read what I have to say. Then at least I can treat you as an equal. You listen to me, I listen to you. If, after reading what I have to say, you still want to watch TV, that's fine. But I can't listen to you if you won't listen to me.
We all know that books will never die. They have lasted for hundreds of years, and will outlast everything and everyone alive today. Books are the gateway to imagination. Books are the biggest cultural thing ever. When books are good, nothing can beat them. Almost all books are good. People who don't read books do so because they don't realize what they are missing. Read today. Expand your mind. Shun the thinking that is given to you. Those who read are the truly interesting people. Those who read have more to say. Those who read are better than the rest who take what's fed to them. With books, you control what comes in and you think. Books are the ultimate force and power. Whenever poeple try to take over, they don't smash the TVs. They burn the books because the books have more power in them than any other medium.
